Hermes Agent is a persistent learning AI agent built by Nous Research. Every completed task becomes a searchable skill document, enabling the agent to grow more capable over time. Built on the Hermes-3 model family with mTLS security by default. Supports Local, Docker, SSH, Singularity, and Modal sandboxed backends. Compatible with OpenClaw SOUL.md format and can auto-import OpenClaw settings. v0.2.0 added a multi-platform messaging gateway (Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, Signal, Email, Home Assistant), native MCP support with stdio and HTTP transports, 70+ bundled skills across 15+ categories, and a Skills Hub for community skill discovery.
